YOUTHTANK'S ENTREPRENEURIAL
JOURNEY

WINTER - SPRING 2022 CRANBROOK

Veteran educator and entrepreneur, Holly Arida, set out to prove her high school students were ready to launch and lead an actual startup. Together, they co-founded YouthTank Detroit, a 501(c)(3) high school business incubator. In YouthTank's after-school and summer programs, expert mentors empower young entrepreneurs to apply design, technological tools, and business innovation to chart their own future and impact their communities.

Co-Founder Roxie Parker reflects on the growth of our scrappy startup one year on and what YouthTank's slogan: "For Youth By Youth" looks like in action.
